Shipments of Wine

Due to legal restrictions on shipments of wine and other alcoholic beverages, we may not be permitted to ship to all states or countries. Contact us to confirm whether we ship to your state.

All wine orders must be placed by a person 21 years of age or older. Verification of age is required at the time of delivery, so we recommend using a business address where an adult is available during normal business hours to receive and sign for your purchase. Wine will not be delivered to a visibly intoxicated person. Failure to produce age verification forfeits the right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. In such circumstances, the order may be held in storage at a local depot of the shipping company until appropriate identification is produced, or it may be shipped back to the winery. All associated costs, including the shipping and handling costs of the return, will be the responsibility of and be charged to the customer.

Orders and amounts are not guaranteed until processed by the winery. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, but those placed late in the week may not ship until the following Monday so that wines do not sit in transit over the weekend. Shipping and handling costs are calculated toward the end of the ordering process. We reserve the right to hold shipments of orders placed during warm months until the weather is suitable for wine shipping.

Returns

By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages with the exception of faulty wines or erroneous shipments. We will also not process refunds for wines damaged or delayed by acts of nature or inclement weather. If an order has been cancelled or refused, a 25% restocking fee will be charged. If you find a fault with any bottle of wine, please contact us and we will process a refund or replacement. We may require return of the faulty bottle(s) and will make arrangements with you for their return shipping.

Membership Terms

Members are committed to receiving a minimum of two allocations before cancelling. If cancellations are received before the two shipment minimum, members will be charged a $20 administrative fee and will also be charged for any incentive discounts received while active. Members must notify Brave & Maiden if they decide to cancel with 14 days notice prior to shipment release date. It is the members responsibility to notify Brave & Maiden of any changes to the membership before allocations are charged and shipped. If shipments are returned to Brave & Maiden, we will charge for the shipping, and we will also charge the shipping fee to resend the wines. If an order has been cancelled or refused, a 25% restocking fee will be charged. Wines not picked up within 90 days of release date will be shipped to the member and substitutions may be made based on available inventory.
Member benefits include complimentary tastings. Reservation policy states that if cancellations are made with less than 48 hours notice, refunds will not be given. If Members do not cancel within 48 hours of the time of reservation, booked tastings will be deducted from the annual complimentary allotment.
Brave & Maiden reserves the right to change or update wine club policies. Wine purchases are non-refundable.

Reservation Policies

We look forward to hosting you at the estate. To help make your experience and that of your fellow guests unforgettable, please take note of the following:
Tastings are hosted indoors, but if you have a particular seating request, let us know in advance; we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Let us know if you plan to bring children and/or dogs. We trust that children will be supervised at all times, remaining seated at the table with you. Parties with dogs will be seated outside. We ask that your fur babies be on a leash at all times and not disruptive to others.
We ask that outside food not be brought onto the estate.
If your plans change, please cancel no later than 48 hours prior to your reservation. Members will incur a fee for late cancellations or no-shows.
